You can help Sterling Witt get nominated for the Lehigh Valley Music Awards!
As I write this I am on a train headed to New York City. This past week I have been in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania - my home away from home or so it seems.
Very soon I will have performed in the Lehigh Valley over 8 times this year, which qualifies me to be nominated for the Lehigh Valley Music Awards in December 2010. The Lehigh Valley Music Awards is the only award show in Pennsylvania recognized by the Grammys. I have to be nominated by friends & fans.

My name is Sterling Witt. I was born and raised in the rural countryside of Missouri. At a very early age I became obsessed with creating art. My passion is to explore the subconscious mind during the creation process. When I start a piece, I generally have no idea what the end result will be. Knowing that anything can and will happen is what keeps me interested. My artistic exploration revolves around the human figure; dissecting it, transforming it, and pushing its boundaries to see where the human qualities start and stop.
For this series of water colors I chose to use drawing paper because it makes the paint harder to control. This helps create those spontaneous qualities that define the style of these paintings. When a painting is done, it’s always a mystery to me, I virtually have no idea how I did it. My goal is to not know the outcome of the piece for as long as possible, then as if by magic the painting virtually makes it self.
